Eagles fly past Westbrook

Hokes Bluff secured with its first winning season in six years with a 55-20 victory over Westbrook Christian last Friday (Oct. 28) at Hokes Bluff.

The Eagles (6-4) travel to Haleyville this Friday (Nov. 4) in the first round of the Class 4A state playoffs.

The Warriors finished the year at 3-7.

Levi Taliaferro scored a pair of touchdowns for Hokes Bluff, while Darrian Meads, Fisher Simmons, Carson Eubanks, Landon Johnson, Zack Allen and Grant Mason each scored one.

Blake Young, Addison Ponder and P.J. Wells each scored a touchdown for Westbrook.
