Etowah went 0-2 at the Class 4A East Regional softball tournament on May 11 at Albertville.
The Lady Blue Devils (25-25) opened with a 5-3 loss to White Plains, followed by a 5-3 setback to Corner.
In the White Plains game, L. Arnold limited Etowah to four hits, two earned runs and one walk over seven innings while striking out 11. Jaleigh Devine and Kylee Wilder each had a hit and an RBI for the Lady Blue Devils.
Etowah ran into another solid pitching performance against Corner, as O. Cummings scattered eight hits and six walks while fanning six. Devine went 4-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored, Laura Wood had a triple and an RBI and B. Owen had a triple and a run scored.
