Gadsden announces Summer Concert Series at The Amp

Gadsden’s Summer Concert Series at The Amp, sponsored by Sam Boswell Honda, is set to return to Gadsden’s historic Mort Glosser Amphitheater in June.

The concerts will take place after downtown’s First Friday festivities on the first Friday of every month from June to August. Gates open at 8 p.m. with the concert to follow from 9 to 10:30 p.m.

“First Friday is always a blast in downtown Gadsden, and this is an opportunity for people to keep the party going at our historic amphitheater,” said Gadsden Mayor Craig Ford. “We’ve got a great selection of bands covering a wide variety of music, so we invite everyone to come enjoy a show this summer!”

As in years past, entry into the concert is free.

The city will be serving drinks, but coolers will not be allowed on the premises.

This year’s lineup is as follows: June 7 – Fuego Show Band; July 5 – Nash County; and Aug. 2 – Rubik’s Groove.
