Gadsden State runners compete at Southern Showcase

The Gadsden State cross country teams competed in the JSU Southern Showcase on Sept. 15 in Huntsville.
Pacing the men’s team in the 8,000-meters was Lane Griffin (pictured above), who finished 237 out of 303 runners with a time of 28:56.60. Jordan Clark led the GSCC women in the 5,000 meters with a time of 21:37.20
Following Griffin for the men were Ashton Vann at 29:45.00, Conner Strawn at 30:41.00, DeShaun Foster at 31:21.10, Travis Cooley at 31:58.00 and Jonah Medders at 34.45.30.
Backing up Clark for the women was Lexi Byrd at 23:03.70, Gabby More at 24:04.40, McKinley Kay at 24:07.20, Keira Johnson at 24:27.60 and Lacey Rich at 24:43.40.
