Gadsden State student-athletes recognized by ACCC

Several Gadsden State student-athletes and two teams were recently recognized for academic achievement by the Alabama Community College Conference. Named to the 2020 Spring Semester Commissioner’s Honor Roll were Shelby Bates, China Lane, Joan Lang, Madelyn Massey (pictured above), Grace Nolen, Aubrey Pope, Leighanna Tralongo and Gracie West from the GSCC volleyball team; Justin Blake, Alex Ivey, Landon Macoy and Jac Myrick from the tennis team; Christian Blue, Kendrick Buskey, Jacorian Dalton, Corien Frazier, Jeremiah Harris, Landon Johnson, Jalen Taylor and Tyler King from the men’s basketball team; and Vanessa Carter, Dalayiah Crawford, Deyana Dodd, Maya Langham, Sydney Prater and Jesse Ralston from the women’s basketball team. In addition, the Cardinal volleyball team (3.17 GPA) and men’s tennis team (3.00 GPA) were recognized for maintaining a collective grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
