Glencoe High’s Thomas Ozmint was nominated for both the Alabama Sports Writers Association Player of the Week and the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s Prep Spotlight honors for the week of Oct. 3. The senior running back rushed 26 times for 237 yards with touchdown runs of 13 and 18 yards in the Yellow Jackets’ 49-8 victory over Ashville.
