Honey-Baked Ham Company and Cafe has a new location, and this time it is permanent. Honey-Baked Ham has opened a holiday kiosk at Gadsden Mall for the past five years. They now have a storefront at 110 West Grand Avenue Suite 100 in Rainbow City.

The store opened the week before Thanksgiving last year. The well-known store was an instant success with a line of customers out the door on Christmas Eve from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The Honey Baked Ham Company and Café is family owned. Co-owner Andy Gaghagen’s mother owns the Oxford Honey-Baked Ham.

“It’s kind of been in the family,” said Gaghagen’s fiancé and co-owner Rachael Miller.

Honey-Baked Ham still offers all the favorites that customers are used to including fresh hams and turkeys. They also offer sides to complete the meal, like macaroni and cheese, broccoli rice casserole and cinnamon apples. Just heat them up, and the meal is ready!

“We try to make it a one stop shop,” said Miller.

Honey-Baked Ham Company and Café also offers lunch daily. For only $6.99, customers can get a fresh sandwich, chips and a drink. Customers can order the classic sandwiches like ham, turkey and chicken salad, but the store also offers specialty sandwiches like Mediterranean veggie or a Barbeque smoke stacker. Customers can even build a sandwich of their own. The store also offers daily soups, such as Brunswick stew, baked potato and broccoli cheese.

The store makes fresh to order salads, like chef salad, cobb salad or turkey caesar, as well.

“We want everyone to feel at home,” said Miller.

The store also offers catered breakfast or lunch to any place in Etowah County, starting at only $7.99 a person. The catering can include boxed lunches, buffets or sandwich trays. Delivery fees apply.

Honey-Baked Ham Company and Café is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. On Saturday, the store is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The store is not open on Sunday.
