HSPRAC’s hosts Pawsapalooza May 11

The Humane Society Pet Rescue and Adoption Center invites everyone to enjoy music and munchies at Pawsapalooza 2 from 11 a.m. until dark May 11 at the HSPRAC shelter at 4200 Brooke Avenue.

Pawzapalooza features a lineup of local bands who donate their time and talent to help raise money for homeless pets in Etowah County.

This year’s lineup includes Ed Howard Band, Travis Posey, Albert Simpson, Skydogs, Foggy Hollow and New Delusions.

Admission is a $5 donation to the shelter. Bring chairs, sunscreen, blankets, coolers and pooches to enjoy this outdoor music event.

No glass bottles allowed.

There will be pooch pools and water provided by the shelter staff to keep all the “best friends” comfortable.

Food vendors will offer barbeque, hot dogs, pizza, chips and drinks. And there will be Pawsapalooza tye-dyes, door prizes and raffles.

For more information about Pawsapalooza, donating to the HSPRAC or adopting a pet, please call 256-442-1347.
