Hudson flashes versatility in Glencoe win over Saks

Alex Hudson scored three touchdowns by three different means in Glencoe’s 32-28 victory over Saks in Class 3A Region 6 action on Friday, Oct. 11 in Anniston.
Hudson (pictured above) rushed for a 4-yard touchdown, caught a 15-yard touchdown pass and returned a kickoff 74 yards for a touchdown. He finished with 100 yards rushing on 14 carries and had two receptions for 19 yards.
Also for the Yellow Jackets (2-5, 1-4), Bronner McMurray rushed for 42 yards on 13 attempts, while Jake Boggs added 26 yards on 12 carries. Aiden Johnson was 8 for 14 in passing for 114 yards and three touchdowns. Boggs and Carter Cook both had two receptions and a touchdown.
Defensively for Glencoe, Jalen Hunter had six tackles and a fumble recovery, Johnson and Parker Gulledge each had four tackles and an interception, Jonah St. John had six tackles, Jake Chambless and Cooper Gomez each had four tackles and Hayden Watson had a sack and two tackles for a loss. McMurray forced a fumble,
The Yellow Jackets continue region play on Friday, Oct. 18 at home against Ohatchee.
