Lady Cardinals beat Snead State in final regular season game

Six 3-point baskets by Katie Miller helped Gadsden State close out its regular season with a 62-36 win over Snead State in Alabama Community College Conference action on Thursday (Feb. 28) at Beck Field House.

Miller finished with 18 points, followed by Sheyene Turner with 13 and Lacy Huckabee with 12.

Also for the Lady Cardinals (22-7, 5-4), Taylor Adams cleared nine rebounds, Lacey Buchanon distributed seven assists and Jasmyne Reeves had seven blocks.

Gadsden State will participate in the ACCC Tournament next week at Wallace-Hanceville. As the North Division No. 3 seed, the Lady Cardinals plays South Division No. 6 seed Bishop State on Sunday (Mar. 3) at 3 p.m. If it wins, Gadsden State face South No. 2 seed Chattahoochee Valley on Mar. 4 at 3 p.m. The tournament semifinals will be held on Mar. 5 at 5 p.m., while the championship game is on Mar. 6 at 7 p.m.
