Lady Panthers blast Huffman in first round of soccer playoffs

Hallie-Kate Smith and Kelsey Patterson each scored three goals in Southside High’s 10-0 victory over Huffman in the first round of the Class 6A state soccer playoffs on Saturday (Apr. 30) at SHS. 

The Lady Panthers travel to Gardendale on Tuesday (May 3) for a second round game.

Also for Southside, Mary Katherine Maudsley had a goal and two assists; Elisabeth Jones and Lauren Brewer each had a goal and an assist; Destini Johnson had a goal; and Savannah Knighten and Sabine Mikkelsen each had an assist.
