Lady Warriors win first ever postseason game

Westbrook Christian won its first postseason soccer match in school history on Tuesday (Apr. 28) with a 4-0 shutout over Fultondale in the first round of the Class 1A-3A state playoffs in Rainbow City. 

The Lady Warriors travel to Altamont this Saturday (May 2) in the second round. 

Kendall Sharp, Alexis Beard, Olivia Strickland and Kayleigh Campbell each scored a goal for Westbrook, while Beard and Kylee Berndt each had an assist. Mattie Lloyd secured the shutout in goal.
