Westbrook Christian improved to 17-2 on the season with a tri-match sweep last Tuesday (Sept. 13), defeating Ashville, 25-15, 25-10 and Southside, 25-21, 25-18 in Rainbow City.
For the Lady Warriors, Raylee Neal had 28 assists, 12 digs, five aces and four kills; Raegan Harrell had 12 kills; Landri Lipscomb had five kills and two aces; Taylor Meador had seven kills and two aces; Kylee Wyatt had 10 digs; Marley Cox had four kills, three digs and two aces; and Brielle Wood had five digs.

Sardis improved to 13-6 on the season with 3-0 sweep over Boaz last Tuesday (Sept. 13). For the Lady Lions, Emily Humphries had 15 assists, Baylor Gilmer had 12 kills, four aces and three digs; Vada Willmore had 11 kills; Hannah Hill had nine assists, nine aces, two digs and two kills; and Sidney Rutledge had six kills, five digs and two aces.

Coosa Christian improved to 6-4 on the season with a 25-9, 28-26, 25-121 sweep of Gaylesville last Tuesday (Sept. 13) in Gadsden. For the Lady Conquerors, Mills Douthard had 18 kills, two digs and two aces; Evelyn Nowak had six kills, five aces and two digs; Zowie Norris had five kills and two digs; Jillian Delp had nine digs and two aces; and Natalie Delp had three kills.

Sardis posted a 25-15, 25-19, 11-25, 28-26 sweep over Boaz on September 6. For the Lady Lions, Emily Kemp had 16 assists, 12 digs and two aces; Emily Humphries had 18 assists, four digs and two kills; Vada Willmore had 17 kills, five blocks and four assist; Caroline Johnson had 17 kills, 11 digs, seven blocks and two aces; and Sidney Rutledge had 15 digs, seven kills and two aces.

Coosa Christian lost to Cedar Bluff, 19-25, 16-25, 14-25 on September 12. For the Lady Conquerors (5-4), Jillian Delp had 12 digs, Mills Douthard had eight assists and five digs; Evelyn Nowak had seven kills, five digs and two aces; and Natalie Delp and Kailah East each had two blocks.

The Westbrook Christian volleyball team finished runner-up at the Champions Tournament last Saturday (Sept. 10) in Alexandria.
The Lady Warriors (15-1) defeated White Plains (2-0, 25-0, 25-17), Faith Christian (2-0, 25-23, 27-25) and Oxford (2-0, 25-23, 27-25) in pool play before beating Walter Wellborn, 2-0, 29-27, 25-15 in the semifinals. Westbrook then fell to Class 3A No. 6 Ohatchee, 0-2, 15-25-12-25 in the championship match.
For the Lady Warriors, Marley Cox (pictured above) had 24 digs, 16 kills, seven aces and three assists; Raylee Neal had 70 assists, 28 digs and eight kills; Raegan Harrell had 39 kills, 25 digs, six assists and four aces; Landri Lipscomb had 14 kills, 10 digs, four aces and two blocks; Taylor Meador ha 13 kills, eight aces and five digs; Henley Beddingfield had 20 digs, three assists and two aces; and Kylee Wyatt had 27 digs and three aces.
