Nina Rhea Gattis, born on May 21, 1953, passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 72.
Visitation will be from 12pm until 1pm at Morgan Funeral Chapel Friday, January 23, 2026. Graveside Service will be at 1:30pm at Rainbow Memorial Gardens with Pastor Ken Casey officiating.
Mrs. Gattis was from Gadsden and lived here her whole life. She graduated from Gadsden High School. Mrs. Gattis worked at the Etowah County Health Department as a secretary until she retired. She enjoyed watching game shows and shopping at TJ Maxx.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard E. Rhea and Martha Rhea. She is survived by her daughter, Leigh Ann Rhea; and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Etowah County Animal Shelter.
