No. 8 Westbrook goes 2-1 at West End quad match

Class 3A No. 8 Westbrook Christian went 2-1 at a quad match on Saturday, Sept. 23 in Walt Grove.
The Lady Warriors (22-7) defeated West End, 25-12, 25-14, 17-25, 18-25, 15-10 and Holly Pond, 25-20, 24-26, 15-13 and lost to Class 2A No. 5 Pleasant Valley, 14-25, 21-25, 11-25.
For the tournament for Westbrook, Raegan Harrell had 35 kills, followed by Landri Lipscomb with 30, Ellison Stewart with 17, Marely Cox (pictured above) with 12 and Carline Taylor and Raylee Neal with three each. Neal also distributed 78 assists.
Kylee Wyatt came up with 31 digs, followed by Lipscomb with 26, Neal and Henley
Beddingfield with 20 each, Cox with 22, Harrell with 18 and Stewart with nine.
Taylor had seven blocks, followed by Lipscomb with six, Harrell and Stewart with three each and Cox with one.
Lipscomb and Cox both served up eight aces, followed by Stewart with five, Beddingfield with three and Neal with two.
On Sept. 21, the Lady Warriors swept Ohatchee, 25-18, 25-15, 25-20. Neal had 26 assists, three aces, two kills and two digs; Harrell had 18 kills; Cox and Beddinfield each had 10 digs; Lipscomb had seven kills and four digs; and Stewart had three kills.
