Westbrook rally falls short at Ohatchee

Westbrook Christian outscored Ohatchee 27 to 8 in the second half, but the Warriors eventually came up just short in a 34-33 loss in Class 3A, Region 6 action on Sept. 8 at OHS.
For Westbrook (1-1, 0-1), Hunter Arnold rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. He also caught two passes for 24 yards.
Greyson Carroll was 13 for 24 in passing for 226 yards and three touchdowns. Cooper Greer had eight receptions for 110 yards and a TD. Lamycal Mitchell caught two passes for 93 yards and a score.
Eggo Alabbasi and Brody Blevins each had seven tackles, followed by Noah Wright, Jake Haney and Nolan Terrell with six each and Max Legg with five. Haney and Alabbasi each forced a fumble, while Terrell and Mitchell both recovered a fumble. Haney also had a sack.
The Warriors host Glencoe this Friday (Sept. 15) in another region game.
