West End fell to Susan Moore, 31-12, in the Patriots’ season opener on August 20 at Susan Moore. Tyler Jones was 6 for 13 in passing for 123 yards and a touchdown. Thad Pearce caught four passes for 48 yards and a score, while Jake Edward had two receptions for 76 yards.
Isaiah Roberson rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries, while Rockman Sainsbury ran six times for 37 yards.
Edwards and Sainsbury led the defensively with 16 tackles each, followed by Roberson with 13 and Josh Carroll with seven. Carroll and Malachi Whisenant each had a sack.
The Patriots travel to Pleasant Valley this week.
