West End fell to 1-1 and 0-1 on the season after a 54-35 loss to Class 2A, Region 7 rival Collinsville on Friday (Sept. 4) in Walnut Grove.
Hunter Grant completed 17 of 42 passes for 313 yards and four touchdowns for the Patriots.
Caegan Epperson returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown.
Andre Little, Hunter Tarvin and Dustin Goodwin all caught touchdown passes for West End. Little also had an interception.
The Patriots visit Cleveland in a region game next week.
Coosa Christian lost Valley Head, 57-22, in a Class 1A, Region 7 game on Friday (Sept. 11) at Valley Head.
Mingoo Kim and Caden Lipscomb each rushed for a score, while Wesley Grizzard caught a touchdown pass.
Coosa (0-2, 0-1) continues region play on Friday (Sept. 11) at home against Jacksonville Christian.
