Phillip C. Billingsley

Phillip C. Billingsley passed away peacefully on Nov. 3. Known for his kind heart, easy smile, and genuine spirit, Phillip was a man who lived life fully and loved deeply. He is now reunited with his parents, Herbert and Viginia Billingsley and many others.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Amanda Blalock, and grandchildren, Mary Reese and Riley Blalock, brothers Jon Billingsley, David Billingsley and sister Pam Burt.

His greatest joy came from time spent with his loved ones—especially his beloved granddaughters of whom he was immensely proud. He cherished every moment with them and often spoke of how they brought light and laughter to his days.

Phillip’s passion for Alabama football was unmatched, and Saturdays in the fall were among his favorite times. He also loved being on the golf course and spending time with friends and family.

Hardworking and dependable, Phillip took pride in his work and in the relationships he built over the years. A familiar face around local breakfast spots, he was known by many for his friendly conversation and down-to-earth nature.

He will be deeply missed by his loving daughter, grand daughters, family, and the many friends whose lives he touched with his warmth, humor, and kindness.
