Rabies vaccinations set for Etowah Co.

Rabies vaccination clinics for pets will be held on Saturday, July 12 and Saturday, July 19 by Animal Health Care at various locations in Etowah County.

The cost is $10 per rabies vaccination. Only cash payments will be accepted. 

All dogs and cats must be restrained on a leash and held by owner while being vaccinated. If taking your pet to be vaccinated in the city of Attalla, certain breeds are required to be muzzled.

8:30 a.m. to 8:45 at AA Truck Insurance at Hwy. 11 & Etowah County line; 9 a.m. to 9:30 at Gallant  Volunteer Fire Department; 9:45 a.m. to 10:15 at Altoona Community Building and Fire Department; 10:30 to 11 a.m. at Walnut Grove Volunteer Fire Department; 11:15 a.m. to  11:45 at Mtn. Top Citgo at Hwy. 278 & 179; 12 p.m. to 12:15 at Lil Burton Food Mart on Hwy. 179; 12:30 p.m. to 12:45 at New Union Volunteer Fire Department at Hwy. 179 & Buffington Road; 1:45 p.m. to 2:15 at Mountainboro Community House and Volunteer Fire Department; 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 at Whitesboro Elementary School; 3:15 p.m. to 3:45 at Duck Springs Elementary School; 4 p.m. to 4:15 at Exxon on Duck Springs Road at Burton Gap Road; 4:30 p.m. to 4:45 at Clean Fuels & Godfathers Pizza at Hwy 11 & Bridge Road; 5 p.m. to 5:15 at Carlisle Elementary School; 5:30 p.m. to 5:45 at Ridgeville Recreation Center and 6 p.m. to 6:15 at Ivalee Volunteer Fire Department.
