Glencoe, Westbrook, Etowah, Southside come up short in subregionals

Glencoe lost to Plainview, 70-64, on Saturday, Feb. 10 in the Class 3A subregional boys basketball playoffs. Garrett Morgan (pictured above) led the Yellow Jackets (19-9) with 33 points, followed by Aiden Cornutt with 11.

Etowah lost to Anniston, 51-41, on Saturday, Feb. 10 in the Class 4A subregional boys basketball playoffs. For the Blue Devils, Jameson Scissum finished with 13 points, six rebounds, four deflections and three steals; Jalien Walker had 11 points, five rebounds and four deflections; Javoc Turner scored nine points; and Lamont Richardson added six points and five rebounds.

Westbrook Christian fell to Geraldine, 86-60 on Saturday, Feb. 10 in the Class 3A subregional boys basketball playoffs.

Southside fell to Scottsboro, 69-31, on Saturday, Feb. 10 in the Class 5A subregional boys basketball playoffs.
