Southside girls advance to state soccer semifinals

Southside High advanced to the Class 6A state soccer semifinals with a 3-1 win over Decatur last Saturday (May 6) in Decatur.
For Southside, Kelsey Patterson had a goal and an assist, while Destini Johnson and Savanna Knighten both scored one goal.
The Lady Panthers (15-5-1) will play Pell City this Friday (May 12) at 9 a.m. at John Hunt Park in Huntsville. The state title game is scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
