Ashville came up short against Springville, 20-19, in high school football on Thursday, Aug. 22 at AHS.
For the Bulldogs, J.B. Potter was 10 for 15 in passing for 131 yards and two touchdowns.
Jamon Williams had three receptions for 81 yards, while Parker Smith caught three passes for 27 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
Braxton Thomas led the way defensively with 16 tackles.
Ashville has an open date this week before traveling to Anniston on Sept. 6 for a Class 4A, Region 6 game.
