Final show in the summer Tribute Series Concerts set for July 19

Bring your friendship bracelets and get ready to shake it off at a Taylor Swift tribute concert at The Amp on Saturday, July 19.

The City of Gadsden, in partnership with Sam Boswell Honda, created the summer Tribute Series Concerts. The first show was performed by 7 Bridges, an Eagles tribute band, on May 30. The second and most recent show was performed by Purple Madness, a Prince tribute group, on June 5.

Gadsden has announced three concerts throughout the summer that will bring some of the most popular tunes of the past several decades to The Amp as tribute bands play the music of The Eagles, Prince and Taylor Swift.

“The city has a tradition of holding a Summer Concert Series every year, and we wanted to build on that by bringing in even more artists for people to enjoy,” said Mayor Craig Ford. “We’ve steadily been making improvements to the amphitheater, and this is a great opportunity for families to come enjoy some riverfront fun on a beautiful summer evening.”

Whether you’re a longtime Swiftie with memories of crying to Teardrops On My Guitar or just love a good live show, this tribute concert from Emma Ejwertz will be a night full of energy and hits from Taylor Swift throughout all her different eras.

This concert also offers an option to achieve Glam Status and make a memory with a Taylor look-a-like at the Swiftie Snapshot Station.

General admission tickets are $10.

Food trucks will be on site, and some drink options can be pre-purchased at the same time as tickets.

Gates open at 6 p.m. and the show is set to start at 7 p.m. and end at 10 p.m.
