The Hardin Center calls for artists

Like beer? Like painting?   The Hardin Center is searching for professional artists to participate in a beer-inspired paint out for the inaugural Art of Beer Festival in downtown Gadsden.

Artists can create their beer-inspired work on April 30 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Still lifes pertaining to the history of beer will be set up on the second floor of the Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts. All media is welcomed.

After the work is completed, it will be on display during the month of May, as well as at the Art of Beer festival on May 15 and 16 in the Kathy Chan gallery at the Cultural Arts Center.

This paint-out is co-sponsored by the Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts and the Gadsden Museum of Art.

For more information, please contact Tami Brooks at 256-543-2787, ext. 23 or email tbrooks@culturalarts.org.
