Warriors fall to Sylvania

Westbrook finished off its Class 3A Region 6 schedule with a 30-7 loss to Sylvania on Oct. 27 in Rainbow City.
For the Warriors (4-5, 2-5), Greyson Carroll was 9 for 19 in passing for 70 yards and a touchdown. Lamycal Mitchell had five receptions for 31 yards and a TD. Carroll and Hunter Arnold each caught two passes.
Max Legg and Brody Blevins each finished with 13 tackles, followed by Titus Jones with 10 (including three for a loss), Eggo Alabassi, Jake Haney, Nolan Terrell and Bo Kilgo with seven each, Noah Wright with six and Ben Morrison with five. Alabassi and Haney each had a sack, while Mitchell had an interception.
Westbrook closes out the season on Friday, Nov. 3 at White Plains.
