Warriors place fourth, three locals finish in top 10 at state golf tournament

The Westbrook Christian boys golf team placed fourth and three locals finished in the top 10 individual standings at the Class 3A state golf tournament on Tuesday, May 10 in Florence.
The Warriors had a 698 score, finishing behind Bayside Academy, Opp and Lauderdale County in the standings.
Westbrook’s Eli Edge shot a two-round score of 165 to place fifth overall in 3A boys competition, followed by teammate Cove McHugh at 171. Glencoe’s Camryn Blackwell (pictured above) came in seventh in the 3A girls standings with a 172 score.
