Westbrook Christian improved to 3-2 with a 52-21 victory over Munford on Friday, Sept. 27 at Munford.
The Warriors led 14-7 after one quarter, 32-7 at halftime and 32-14 after three quarters.
For Westbrook, sophomore quarterback Brody Blevins finished with 330 total yards and five touchdowns. He rushed for 173 yards and four TDs on 22 carries and was 7 for 9 in passing for 160 yards and one score. He also ran for a two-point conversion.
Brodey Wood and Sam Sollie each ran for a touchdown, Brodie Johnson had receptions for 68 yards and Maximus Jones caught a 58-yard touchdown pass. Read Barber kicked a 23-yard field goal and was 5-for-5 on PATs.
Max Legg had nine tackles, followed by Brooks Whiteside with seven and Jackson Ramsay, Noah Wright and Titus Jones with five each. Whiteside had a sack, Ramsay had two pass-breakups, Wright had two tackles for a loss and Titus Jones and Jerry Zeringue both had a fumble recovery.
Westbrook resumes its Class 2A Region 6 schedule on Friday, Oct. 4 at home against Ohatchee.
