West End spreads the wealth in win over Pleasant Valley

Isaiah Roberson, Thad Pearce and Tyler Jones each had two touchdowns as West End knocked off Pleasant Valley, 39-14, for the Patriots’ first win of the 2021 season.
Roberson (pictured above) rushed for 159 yards on 15 carries with TD runs of 6 and 21 yards. Pearce caught four passes for 100 yards, catching a 44-yard touchdown and running back a kickoff 74 yards to the end zone. Jones was 5 of 11 in passing for 101 yards and a pair of scoring strikes. Jake Edwards ran back a 42-yard punt for a touchdown. Rockman Sainsbury had 11 carries for 74 yards. Defensively, Roberson finished with 10 tackles, while Joshua Carroll had nine.
West End (1-1) hosts Spring garden this Friday (Sept. 3) in the Patriots’ home opener.
