Westbrook Christian swept its way to the Class 3A, Area 11 Tournament championship on Monday (Oct. 19) in Ohatchee.
The Lady Warriors opened with a 25-22, 25-9, 25-18 victory over Glencoe before posting a 25-12, 25-15, 25- 19 win over Ohatchee in the title match.
Westbrook faces Sand Rock in the Class 2A Regional Tournament beginning on Friday (Oct. 23) in Huntsville.
For the tournament for the Lady Warriors, Olivia Strickland had 28 kills and 25 digs; Abby Lockridge had 12 kills, 20 digs and two blocks; Olivia Graham had 28 kills, 40 digs and seven aces; Mary Grace Mayfield had 47 assists, 10 digs, three aces and two kills; Avery Bane had eight digs and seven assists; Elizabeth Wethington had two kills and five digs; Gracie Norris had 10 digs; and Kali Stapler had five digs and two aces.
Strickland, Lockridge, Mayfield and Wethington joined MVP Olivia Graham on the all-tournament team.
