ECSO, DEU to ‘take back’ unused prescription drugs
The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office and Drug Enforcement Unit is asking Etowah County citizens to participate in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.
The event will take place on April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at YMCA of the Coosa Valley in conjunction with Healthy Kids Day. The YMCA of the Coosa Valley is located at 100 Walnut Street in Gadsden.

Physicians Who Care 5K Saturday
Runners and walkers in the Etowah County area are invited to help raise money for the Etowah County Cancer Foundation by participating in the Physicians Who Care 5K Run/1 Mile Walk Saturday (April 27).
For children, there is a Kids Run Free event, in conjunction with the YMCA.
