The Chamber, Gadsden Etowah County, bestowed honors on a number of local businesses — including the Messenger — on Oct. 9 at the annual Etowah Small Business Awards luncheon at the Hardin Center for Cultural Arts.

‘Sista Act’ to be featured at Women’s Conference

Gadsden Public Library to hold book sale Oct. 23-26

The Gadsden Public Library’s annual BIG Book Sale will run from Oct. 23 to Oct. 26 in the Lena Martin Room of the Main Library, located at 254 College Street.

Gadsden State Community College will have a new addition to the 19th Annual Charity Showcase scheduled for Nov. 7. This year young ladies age 7 – 11 years old will have an opportunity to compete for the title of Little Miss Gadsden State. The winner will get to spend one day with Miss Gadsden State at the Miss Alabama Pageant
