Lions blast Crossville, 52-14

Keenan Lewis had another explosive offensive rushing game and the Sardis defense recovered two second-half Crossville fumbles as Sardis cruised to a 52-14 win at CHS on Friday (Oct. 24).

Playoff-bound Sardis improved to 5-4 overall and finished 4-3 in Class 4A, Region 6. Crossville dropped to 0-9 and ended up 0-7 in region

Titans fall to Buckhorn

Class 7A, No. 3 Gadsden City stood between Buckhorn and a playoff berth on Friday (Oct. 24) in Region 4. The visiting Titans had already clinched the region championship.

Spring Garden puts down Conquerors

Spring Garden fell just four points short of setting a new school record for most points scored in a football game on Friday (Oct. 24) with a 72-42 victory over Class 1A, Region 7 rival Coosa Christian.

Spring Garden (6-3, 5-1) jumped out to a 33-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. 

Eagles lose to Cleburne County

Hokes Bluff fell to Cleburne County, 35-14, in a Class 4A, Region 6 game on Friday (Oct. 24) at HBHS.

Noah Click and Fisher Simmons scored touchdowns for the Eagles (2-7, 2-5). 

Hokes Bluff closes out its season on Friday with a trip to Locust Fork.
