Glencoe finished off its region schedule with a 56-0 victory over Pleasant Valley on Friday (Oct. 24) at GHS.
The Yellow Jackets (8-0, 6-0) rolled up 436 total yards, including 344 on the ground, while holding the Red Raiders to 155.
Both Thomas Ozmint and Dylan Stone went over the 100-yard rushing mark. Ozmint ran for 164 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries, while Stone ran seven times for 150 yards and two scores. Stone also was 5-for-10 in passing for 92 yards and a touchdown.
Andrew Willis had two receptions for 22 yards.
Glencoe jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead on a pair of Ozmint touchdown runs, the first for 60 yards at 6:35 of the first quarter and the second for 43 yards at 4:15.
Stone’s 23-yard touchdown pass to Taylor Daugherty made it 21-0 with 15 seconds left in the opening period.
A pair of touchdown runs by Stone in the second period, one for 1 yard and the other for 8, made it a 34-0 advantage at halftime.
Daugherty scored on a 20-yard TD with 2:50 left the third quarter.
In the fourth period, Will Parker returned an interception 67 yards for a touchdown and Cade Alred scored on a 5-yard run.
Defensively for the Yellow Jackets, Chance Duncan had 15 tackles, followed by Mason Brown with 13, Austin Bush with eight and Willis and Grant Griffin with seven each.
Glencoe closes out the regular season on Thursday at home against Cleburne County.
