Glencoe’s Bishop wins pair of Bryant-Jordan scholarship awards
Glencoe High School senior Hope Bishop received a pair of awards at the 30th annual Bryant-Jordan Student Athlete Banquet on Monday (Apr. 13) in Birmingham.
Bishop was named the Class 3A state winner in the Student Achievement division and was selected as the co-winner of the University of Alabama “A” Club Educational & Charitable Foundation Scholarship.

Cardinals finish second at conference tennis tournament
Gadsden State finished runnerup in the Alabama Community College Conference Tournament on Saturday (Apr. 11) in Decatur. Marion Military won the state title with 12 points, followed by Gadsden State with eight and Faulkner State with six.
