The annual Etowah County Sports Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction will be held on Saturday, April 11, at 6 p.m. at the Gadsden Convention Hall.

Rathje tosses no-hitter in Glencoe win over Hokes Bluff

Jessica Rathje pitched a weather -shortened no-hitter to propel Glencoe to a 3-0 softball victory over Hokes Bluff on Monday (Apr. 6) at GHS.
Played during a steady shower, the game was called in the top of the sixth inning when heavier rain moved into the area.
In five innings, Rathje struck out eight while walking one.
