Lady Blue Devils fall to Guntersville

Jordyn Garmon scored a game-high 10 points to lead Guntersville to a 40-30 victory over Etowah in Class 5A, Area  13 girls basketball on Tuesday (Jan. 26) in Attalla.

The Lady Wildcats raced out to a 7-1 lead after one quarter but the Lady Blue Devils held a 19-15 lead at halftime.

Etowah led 26-22 after three quarters of play, but Guntersville’s Makayla Sims scored all nine of her points in the fourth quarter to rally the visitors for the 10-point victory.

Madison Grant and Gabby Williams each scored eight points for the Lady Blue Devils.
