Eagles shut out Pleasant Valley

Hokes Bluff posted its first win of the season with a 41-0 shutout over Pleasant Valley in Class 3A, Region 5 action on September 3 in Jacksonville.
The Eagles (1-1, 1-0) finished with a 368 to 130 advantage in total yards, including a 308 to 78 edge on the ground.
Hokes Bluff scored a pair of touchdowns in the second, third and fourth quarters to win going away.
Tucker Griffin led the Eagles in rushing with 91 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries.
Jordan Bradley ran nine times for 74 yards, while Noah Sprayberry added 50 yards and a touchdown on nine attempts. Bradley was 4 for 6 in passing for 60 yards and a touchdown.
Hokes Bluff hosts Ohatchee this Friday (Sept. 10) in region action.
