JSU recognizes local a scholars

Jacksonville State University (JSU) recently announced its Emerging Scholars for Spring 2023, recognizing high school students who have earned a 3.5 GPA or higher while completing dual enrollment courses at the university.
The following students were honored:

Haley Beth Allen of Gadsden, Cedar Bluff High School; Hallie Alexis Lowe of Gadsden, Etowah High School; Aleza Kaleem of Gadsden, Iqra Math & Science Academy; Aspen Danielle Young of Gadsden, Piedmont High School; Lacie LaShay Smith of Gadsden, Cedar Bluff High School; Hannah Kate Barber of Hokes Bluff, Piedmont High School; Aaron Jackson Hayes of Gadsden, Piedmont High School; Cammie Ann Perkins of Rainbow City, Southside High School; Molly Pearce of Southside, Southside High School; and Ashley Elizabeth Bynum of Southside, Lincoln High School.
