MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE NOTICE

Whereas, default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness secured by that certain mortgage executed by Billy H. Freeman, Jr., an unmarried man, to Family Savings Federal Credit Union on the October 28, 2019, said mortgage being recorded at Instrument #3493014, Mortgage Records, Office of the Judge of Probate of Etowah County, Alabama, and the under-signed, by reason of such default, having declared the entire remaining indebtedness secured by said mortgage to be immediately due and payable, and said mortgage subject to foreclosure, and such default continuing, notice is hereby given, that acting under the power of sale contained in said mortgage, the undersigned, Dana L. NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FEDERAL AID PROJECT NO.IM-I059(426) DEKALB AND ETOWAH COUNTIES, ALABAMA

Sealed bids will be received by the Director of Transportation at the office of the Alabama Department of Transportation, Montgomery, Alabama until 10:00 AM on December 06, 2024 and at that time publicly opened for constructing the Roadway Reconstruction (Pavement Removal, Grading, Drainage, Base, and Pavement) on I-59 (Southbound Roadway) from 0.390 mile south of the CR-276 (Stephens Gap Road) Overpass to a point 0.500 mile south of the SR-68 Interchange northwest of Collinsville. Length 10.690 mi.

The total amount of uncompleted work under contract to a contractor must not exceed the amount of his or her qualification certificate.

The Entire Project Shall Be Completed By March 12, 2027. 

A 2.00% DBE Contract Obligation Is Required.

A Bidding Proposal may be purchased for $5.00. Plans may be purchased for $114.00 per set. Plans and Proposals are available at the Alabama Department of Transportation, 1409 Coliseum Boulevard, Room E-108, Montgomery, AL 36110. Checks should be made payable to the Alabama Department of Transportation. Plans and Proposals will be mailed only upon receipt of remittance. No refunds will be made.

Minimum wage rates for this project have been pre-determined by the Secretary of Labor and are set forth in the advertised specifications. This project is subject to the contract work hours and Safety Standards Act and its implementing regulations.

RESOLUTION NO. R-626-24

Ordering Abatement of Nuisance                                                                       

located at 2401 NORRIS AVENUE in District 6 in the City of Gadsden, more particularly described as:

LT 1 & E 15 LT 3 BLK 31 ALFORD’S 2ND ADD PLAT A-308 GADSDEN S6-T12-R6

is a nuisance and ordered its abatement; and

Whereas, as required by the Code of Ordinances, notice of a public hearing has been given to KATHY STANFIELD, 2401 NORRIS AVENUE, GADSDEN, ALA-BAMA 35904.

Now, Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY   

OF GADSDEN, ALABAMA, as follows:

1. The Council finds that the property constitutes a nuisance in violation of the Code Ordinances and should be abated.

2. The Building Official is authorized to abate the nuisance by removing said nuisance and to give notice of this decision in accordance with the Code Ordinances.

1. The Council finds that the property constitutes a nuisance in violation of the Code Ordinances and should be abated.

2. The Building Official is authorized to abate the nuisance by removing said nuisance and to give notice of this decision in accordance with the Code Ordinances.
