Houston Michael Beck

Houston Michael Beck, born on Nov. 23, 2005, in Alabama, passed away on Nov. 4, 2025, at the age of 19.

Houston was definitely one of a kind. He was a hilarious person with a quirky dry sense of humor and an endless supply of “Fun Facts.”

He enjoyed playing video games, going to the movies, shooting his airsoft guns, putting together Legos, building model kits and listening to his records. He also enjoyed working at Little Caesars and helping deliver meals to the senior citizens of Steele.

We couldn’t have asked for a better son. He was so kindhearted and so smart, and an awesome “Bubby” to Sawyer and Elise.

We will always remember the way he made us laugh, his handsome face and his wild untamed hair.

Houston is survived by his parents, Lance and Karen Beck; siblings, Elise and Sawyer Beck; grandparents, Dennis and Alice Beck, Richard and Ruby Reynolds; aunts, Monica Green, Jennifer (Steve) Bollinger; uncle, Brian Green; cousins, Lawson Bollinger and Kaylee Bollinger, Arden (Trace) Cromer, and cousin Annie Cromer; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Special thanks to the Gadsden Fire Department, the employees at Splash Auto Spa, Riverview Regional Medical Center, and the numerous friends and family that have reached out to us.
