On Saturday, Oct. 24, Cassidy Jordan Horsemanship hosted a Halloween barn party in Sardis, bringing riders and their horses together for a fun-filled costume contest judged on creativity.

Andi Chupp and her horse, Willis, teamed up with Harlee Hall and Cassidy Linhart’s horse, Crimson, to take first place with their Willy Wonka theme. Chupp dressed as an Oompa-Loompa, Willis was the golden ticket, Hall was Willy Wonka and Crimson was dressed as a chocolate bar.

Raemah Jones, dressed as Winnie the Pooh, and Issiac Jones, dressed as Tigger, took second place along with Macie Harts’ horse, Gideon, who was dressed as Eeyore.

Maddux Pinney and her horse, Hazel, took third place with matching dragon costumes.

The costume contest gave riders a chance to have some Halloween fun with their horses and show off their creativity.
