Riverview to host health fair on Feb. 21

In recognition of American Heart Month, which is celebrated each year in February, Riverview Regional Medical Center invites the public to the 2015 Cardiovascular Health Fair on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 7 – 11 a.m. 

The event, which takes place at Riverview’s Heart and Vascular Center, includes cholesterol and glucose screening, EKG, PAD (peripheral arterial disease), and blood pressure screening. A continental breakfast will be provided.

The cost is $25 per person. 

Reservations are necessary for this popular event and can be made by calling 256-543-5741. 

The event is open to people ages 18 and older and fasting is required for the cholesterol and glucose screening.
