Assistant Branch Manager
SUMMARY: The Assistant Branch Manager position IS A MANAGEMENT TRAINING role for the Branch Manager Position. The Assistant Branch Manager provides Branch operational assistance to the manager and assists existing customers and promotes personal loan services to potential customers. PRIMARY DUTIES: Process credit loan services to potential customers. PRIMARY DUTIES: Process credit loan applications, complete loan documents; recommends loan amount and terms based on appraised value of security and other customers collateral; prepares a written detailed description, Solicits loans over the phone in addition to customer interaction at the counter. Conducts collection calls and prepares an activity report for submittal to the Branch Manager, contact customers with past due accounts via telephone. Submits weekly progress reports, maintains daily tabulations of delinquency reports. Provides customer credit experience to inquiring creditors and credit bureaus. Accepts and post customers’ payments received at the counter and via mail. Transports money, deposits, and computer disks to and from the bank with appropriates escorts as defined by policy. Closes current renewal loans, assists in mailing renewal material to customers with past due accounts. Performs other activities that support the Branch and the Branch Manager in proper operations. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Degree; Prior work experience is needed; preferably in a customer service environment. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Strong customer service skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interact with employees/liaisons from Corporate Office. Computer proficiency, specifically Microsoft Office software. Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance, Branch Manager promotion may require relocation. SCHEDULE: This position is FULL-TIME, typical hours are 8:30-5:30 p.m. Periodic overtime may be required.
