Conquerors fall short at Gatlinburg

Coosa Christian came up short against Gatlinburg-Pittman, 28-24, on September 23 in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
For the Conquerors (2-4, 2-1), John David Justus (pictured above) was 11 for 25 in passing for 214 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 46 yards and a score on seven carries.
Jy Mostella gained 97 yards on 11 carries. Eli Motes had four catches for 52 yards, followed by Ja’Coby Tucker with three for 72. Clete O’Bryant and Grayson Malone each had two receptions for 54 yards.
Coosa has an open date this week before traveling to Class 1A, Region 7 rival Cedar Bluff on October 7.
