On Sunday, February 15 at 4 p.m., Downtown Gadsden Inc. will host the 3rd Annual Party with a Purpose at the Pitman.

The event will raise money to go towards continued renovations of one of downtown Gadsden’s historical landmarks, The Pitman Theater. Since the first year of this event renovations have been ongoing.  Last year, with the help of the City of Gadsden and Mayor Guyton this event raised a total of $4,400.

The money raised this year will go towards continued improvements of the Pitman Theatre including but not limited to; adding additional restrooms at the theatre and cleaning up the mezzanine level.

So come join Downtown Gadsden Inc. and don’t miss the live music from some of the area’s finest musicians: Tony Irby, Black Creek Trio, Delnora Reed and Peanut and Mother May I.

Doors will open at 3:30 p.m., bring your coolers and enjoy some good family fun! The concert is free; donations will be accepted to benefit the Pitman Theater.

Downtown Gadsden, Inc. would like to thank all of the sponsors for this event:  Riverview Regional Medical Center, Greater Gadsden Area Tourism, Southern Cardiovascular Associates, Insurance Facilities, The Gadsden Times, The City of Gadsden, and Z-93.
