Gadsden State sophomore guard Parker Godwin was selected as Alabama Community College Conference Player of the Week for men’s basketball for the week of November 29. Godwin averaged 27.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, two steals and 1.6 blocks per game as the Cardinals posted victories over Marion Military (97-80), Cleveland State (77-66), Tennessee Valley Prep (104-68) and Wallace State-Selma (66-64). For the season, Godwin is averaging 13.7 points and 4.1 rebounds while helping the team to an 8-2 record.
