Glencoe’s Bishop wins pair of Bryant-Jordan scholarship awards

Glencoe High School senior Hope Bishop received a pair of awards at the 30th annual Bryant-Jordan Student Athlete Banquet on Monday (Apr. 13) in Birmingham. 

Bishop was named the Class 3A state winner in the Student Achievement division and was selected as the co-winner of the University of Alabama “A” Club Educational & Charitable Foundation Scholarship. 

Also recognized were Westbrook Christian senior Ali Porter and Southside High senior Lindsey Hindsman, who earlier this year were named the Class 3A Region 6 and Class 6A Region 7 Scholar-Athlete winners, respectively. 

Presenting Bishop her achievement award is Bryant-Jordan Foundation president/chairman Edgar Welden.
