Bobby Robertson, an employee in Gadsden Regional Medical Center’s Facilities Management department, was named the hospital’s Employee of the Month for March.

Robertson works as the utility tech lead for the department and has been with Gadsden Regional for more than seven years.

A nomination submitted for Robertson called him a “hard worker,” who “always wants to learn more.”

“(Bobby is) always working behind the scenes and fixing things no one ever sees, but definitely feels when broken (air, heat, etc.),” the nomination stated.

Robertson was also praised for always being “willing to work long hours to get the job done.”

A graduate of Etowah High School, Robertson holds degrees from Gadsden State Community College and is a state-certified HVAC and refrigeration contractor.

He and his wife, Keri, live in Sand Valley with their daughter, Emma.
