GRMC seeks nominations for patient’s choice award

Each year, Gadsden Regional Medical Center recognizes one of its nurses with the Patient Choice Award and the help of our patients and their families is needed.

The award recognizes the level of quality patient care, comfort and compassion offered by nurses each day.

As it has for the past six years, Gadsden Regional is asking the public for nominations.

One nurse will be selected from those nominated and will be named the Patient Choice Award winner during National Nurses Week, May 6-12.

If you or a family member came to Gadsden Regional for inpatient, outpatient or emergency care in the past year and had a nurse who you believe deserves special recognition for the care she or he provided, here is your chance to help them receive it.

Nominations for the Patient Choice Award will be accepted until 5 p.m. on April 25.

Nominations can be submitted online via the hospital’s website at www.gadsdenregional.com/nominations.

Nominations also may be emailed, mailed or faxed (as long as they are received by April 25).

E-mail nominations to natalie_fleming@gadsdenregional.com, mail to: Natalie Fleming, Marketing, Gadsden Regional Medical Center, 1007 Goodyear Ave., Gadsden, AL 35903, or fax nominations to 256-494-4865.
